Lanehaven Farms (LHF) established as a dairy and crop operation

1965

J.Gordon Hollis named Master Farmer

 

1968

Lanehaven Farms incorporated

1972

40 head Guernsey dairy operation liquidated and emphasis switched to pork production

1978

Curtis Hollis named Master Pork Producer

Mid-1980’s

Successfully navigated Farm Crisis

 

1990

Doubled hog operation

 

2001 - 2004

Operated soybean extrusion-expelling operation and biobased grease manufacturing

 

2002

Blake & Sally Hollis named Iowa’s Outstanding Young Leaders by American Soybean Association and Dupont

 

2006

Blake Hollis named as one of Cedar Valley’s Top 20 Under 40

 

2006

Started growing seed corn

2007

Expanded swine finishing operations and relocated sow herd

2014

Blake Hollis received the Iowa Environmental Leader Award

 

2014

Curt and Betty Hollis inducted into the Cedar Valley Jr. Achievement Business Hall of Fame

2016

Blake Hollis awarded the Cedar Valley Environmental Steward of Character Award

 

2016

Lanehaven Farms received the 2016 Waterloo Friend of Tourism Award
